Margarita and Gerardo’s story began long before either of them realized what the future had in store. They first met through family in 1997, crossing paths as part of each other’s lives, but it wasn’t until 2003 that their connection began to grow into something more. Even then, life had other plans, and the timing just wasn’t right for them to be together. Years later, everything finally aligned. On October 27, 2021, Margarita and Gerardo began their journey as a couple, and it quickly became clear that what they had was something special. With every shared moment, they realized they weren’t just partners—they were the missing pieces to each other’s lives. Together, they love spending time outdoors riding bikes, hiking, and exploring new places through travel. Whether it’s an adventure or a quiet day at home, they cherish simply being together. Gerardo’s proposal was as heartfelt and genuine as their love story. On the very night they picked up the engagement ring, he playfully told Margarita that now he could propose at any moment—and she would never expect it. Later that evening, as Margarita relaxed watching TV, Gerardo stepped into the kitchen, returned with the ring, and knelt beside her—with their cats nearby—asking her to be his wife. It was a perfect, intimate moment that reflected the love they share every day. From a long-ago introduction to a love that found its way at just the right time, Margarita and Gerardo are so excited to begin this next chapter together.
